Our Investigator Got Baptized!

My mommy comments are in bold blue italics.
Hey Fam!
Estrella is doing awesome; I'll keep you posted if Hermana Jardine tells me anything about her. We went to their house early in the morning to say goodbye to the family. After my mission, Bianca is going to live with Hermana Jardine and I to finish out her schooling in Utah. Keep her in your prayers. She's amazing, but that family has been dealt a lot of trials.

Socorro is bomb. Yeah, it's way different here. WAY less homosexuals, way more cowboys, WAY more Spanish, WAY more dust and wind, WAY hotter sun, WAY AWESOME. OH!!!! It flooded big time over here. Almost everyone was affected by the cold weather so they're all getting emergency prepared which is awesome.
Flooding in Socorro, Texas.
Ha yeah, we've got a Spanish ward here. It's awesome. Work is different here. We've done a lot of visits to inactive members and members....which is good. There are a lot of incredible people here. I’m already meeting some life time friends which is wonderful. The members really love the missionaries here. I love my companion. There are three sets of Spanish missionaries that cover the English and Spanish wards. So we see them every day. There are four sisters and two elders. Hermana Knight and I, Elder Day & Elder Evans, Hermana Newbold and Sister Obrien (my MTC companion) is here which is awesome! We have a pickup, that's AMA-ZA-ZING! We get to go to the temple at the end of the month I’m so excited!!!! It'll be awesome to see Sister Jardine again!

We have an investigator getting baptized this Friday! Her son was in the hospital, but thankfully he is better. I love this day. I love this building.
Yeah I think I’m recovered from it,...but I’m coming down with something else, BUT! I LOVE IT HERE AND MY COMPANION IS AWESOME. Please don't worry about me Momma. I really do take care of myself. The members here are INCREDIBLE. I think that one of the best things about serving a mission is feeling like I have a lot of family in the ward. There are So many families that insist that we CALL THEM if we have any problems. They are awesome!

Mom & Dad~
Mom we're too hard on ourselves. I think that's one of our biggest weaknesses. We NEED to relax and ENJOY life. ENJOY our progress. This life is meant to be enjoyed, not endured. I'm glad dad has had a busy week. That's awesome. You're awesome dad! Mommy, I seriously look up to you so much. I'm daily reminded of the incredible example both of you set for me. You are amazing people. Mom, thank you so much for teaching me to respect myself and strive for righteousness at all times. You are amazing. Ha, ha thank you so much mommy. I’m happy I’ll be the 1st one the invitation is addressed to. YAY FOR THEM BEING HAPPY ABOUT GETTING MARRIED!!!

Krysten~
Little Krys, I can't even put into words how much i miss you. Every time I see someone you're age I want to cry and hug them and say o-o-o-o-o little Krys!!!! But then I realize how weird and creepy that would be and I don't. Being the youngest isn't easy. I know Heavenly father knew you were tough enough for the spot of the youngest child and would teach us all by your incredible example! You are incredible little Krys. I LOVE YOU TONS AND TONS!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA PEREZ!!!!! The restaurant sounded awesome I’m glad y'all had fun. (Awe, only one week in TEXAS and she's already saying “y’all”.)

I love you ALL a TON,
Hermana Perez
