| Hermana Batchkoff & Hermana Perez with Elders on a P-Day |
We have been talking to a woman. We met her the other day when we were tracting (which we really don't do much of). Hermana Batchkoff felt like we should knock her door. She is awesome! Her family except her is a member and she seems to be very interested and ready for the gospel. Her husband is not happy about it at all though. He feels like we're trying to tear the family apart. He is catholic, but not very active and has a drinking problem. We are praying and working to help soften his heart. We’ve been warm and friendly every time we've seen him. We’re hoping he'll agree to a noche de hogar some time this week.
Hermana Batchkoff was here before me with another sister who was totally on the ball so we've got a ton of work ahead of us, yeah! We are still working hard and I’m really working on thinking less about myself. We’ve been very diligent and obedient, but I haven't had the best attitude about stuff. We cleaned the apartment today! I’ve become somewhat of a clean freak on the mission and I have our Goodwill pile all ready to go. One of the 1st things I do when I get to a new appt is de-junk. They are all so screaming cluttered. I have got all the supplies organized too. We’re blessed to have a washer and dryer in our apartment too which is a huge blessing!
I wish I was able to go to Adam &
Family and friends~
I love you so, SO much. Know that I read everything y’all wrote. Connect typical me emotions and responses to all the stories you told me since I don't have the time to respond to all of them.
I LOVE YOU! Stay awesome and NEVER STOP PRAYING!
Love,
Hermana Perez
PS Not to brag or anything, but I’ve got some really good Spanglish. I can flip between English and Spanish several times in a sentence with out missing a beat. Next step, sticking to one language per sentence.
