Sin = Sorrow, Righteousness = Happiness!

Mom~
Thank you so much for the experience you shared about the Lord and how he answers prayers when we have faith. We have shared the scripture in Matthew 9 and a picture of the woman, "con un enfermidad de sangre", with "an illness of blood". I have born testimony of the importance of having faith in the will of the Lord and have faith in his ability to accomplish his purposes. I'm excited to show you the picture, it's beautiful.

Dad~
Wow tornados in south like South America or southern USA?....crazy! It seriously does sound like something from Hollywood. According to the billboards here in El Paso the end of the world is May 21st... sooooooo. Yeah, it's getting close....that’s just what the billboards are saying. I need to teach people with a greater sense of urgency. Too often I don't say the things I should, fearing it won't make some one happy. I just need to remember that it is wicked that taketh the truth to be hard. I have so much love for these people it KILLS to see so many of those whose hearts are failing them.

We are teaching several people who are struggling letting go of different things. IF ONLY THEY COULD SEE! How much better their lives would be without them. There is so much more to this life than momentary thrills. Sin=sorrow, righteousness=happiness. Jesus Christ is the only way to get this happiness. I love you all so, so, so much and was so happy to be able to talk to you all.

Brenden & Krysten~
Sweet about Bren and Krys helping each other out with pushups. Yeah! Getting healthy! You kids are awesome! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, read your scriptures every day. Doctrine & Covenants chapter 27 talks about the armor of God. YOU NEED TO STUDY YOUR SCRIPTURES in order to receive further spiritual strength.

I love you family. Keep being the spiritual strength to each other and those around you. LOOK for opportunities to serve and share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I love you all so much!
Hermana Perez
(Lauren's mission president allowed the missionaries to skype (video conference) during their mothers day call. The whole family which includes Michael was there for the forty minutes we had to chat. It was wonderful to see her. Her and her companion sang us a song in spanish. They both have beautiful voices and blend well. Her spanish is wonderful. I was able to talk with her in spanish and our conversation flowed just perfectly. What more can we say, she is as happy as a lark to be a missionary.)
