Dear Fam,
Dear Fam,
How is everyone? I forgot to tell you in my last e-mail that they fixed the heat. The first few days were freezing. We slept with sweat shirts and yeah, it was cold. We laugh about it now.
I honestly have so little time here to get things done. I get a list of 1,001 things to get done every day... and I finish maybe three of those 1,001 things. It's awesome. Our teachers are like..."So will you promise to do_________?." It's muy comico, porque (translation: it's very funny, because) it's like sure, why not?!...I am 90% sure that I have already forgotten 50% of the commitments I have made. It is getting better though. The first few days here, there was so much we were trying to get down!
My companions and I are living in the same hall as the sisters from Pakistan, Brazil, the Phillipines, China, and Kirethess (sp?), it is near the Marshall Islands. They are AMAZING, oh my word, so-o-o cool to have so much culture around. These sisters are great! They have shared so many stories. Seriously, we have nothing to complain about at all! The sisters from Pakistan were telling me. "Here it is not hard for us. All we have to worry about is the language, but back home there is bombing all the time, and a lot of crime." They cannot go to the movies, because it is not safe, women often get kidnapped. It is crazy. Those sisters are wonderful, so-so-so strong!
