Two of the titles of my e-mails to Hermana Perez were, "WRITE to US! We are going through withdrawals" and "Can't go on much longer..cough, gasp, wheeze!" I told Lauren that Alexis & I have practically been camping out by the computer waiting to receive an e-mail from her. She was kind enough to let us know what time she will be e-mailing us from now on, so we won't have to break out the tent anymore.
By the way, I epically failed at that whole taking a picture everyday thing. Spanish is going well. I haven't spent a ton of time with it yet. I am surprised how much I remember. The days are so busy, it seems impossible to get everything done. I'm not stressed though. Honestly, I love it here! I have lucked out so much. How's the fam?!?!?! From the thousands of e-mails I received it sounds like you are all doing great. I LOVE the MTC! Honestly it's awesome!!! Preparation day=attending the temple, eating, 15 minute nap, & 3 hours for laundry and letters. I actually only have a half an hour to e-mail. If you write to me through dearelder.com instead of my missionary e-mail, I will get to read your letters before P-day and I will have more time to write y'all back. (Where did "y'all" come from, she has never used that word before in her entire life, she must have a companion from the south.)
My district is amazing! We have such great Elders in our district! I love my companions! I'm in a trio. My companions are Hermana O'brian and Hermana Adams. They're great! We are so incredibly different, but we get along really, really well. It's really nice! I'm learning a lot, several aha moments this week. The first few days were chaotic because of how new things were and how many new rules we were given. I'm adjusting really well. I feel super prepared for this. No meltdowns, so its great! We went to the Provo Temple this morning. It was awesome.
Mom, I go to the gym everyday and no I don't pig out during meals. (I warned her that the all you can eat buffet at the MTC can be dangerous to your waistline.) Oh my WORD. Maaaaaaam, You crack me up! That "Lock Your Heart" talk was hilarious, not the talk itself, but the fact that you sent it to me... I don't flirt. (I sent her a copy of a talk from President Spencer Kimball, entitled "Lock Your Heart"). Residence hall has been freezing cold and it was hard to sleep for the first few days. I've had a few way cold showers because the hot water ran out, its been funny. I seriously love it here, things are great! Watch the Joseph Smith movie. I'm SERIOUS, it is awesome!!! I was balling. Sunday we heard from the 1st sister missionary from Jordan. She told us about her conversion story. It was amazing!!!! Tell everyone I love them. I'll write you today.
Loves!
