We took some new Spanish missionaries out tracking today and have been running like mad trying to get everything done.
Tracting with the greenies was awesome. They are incredible Sisters! Hopefully I’ll get to serve with one of them at some point in my mission. One is from
Sister Furman and I will be together for another transfer! This will be the longest I’ve been in an area, CRAZY!!! I love, love, love it here so I’m very happy to be able to stay. I’m learning a lot from sister Furman she's awesome!
Eva, is so good at being positive through trials. We visited Eva this morning. She is incredible!!! Every time we leave her house I feel so, so, so happy. She has so much joy and hope, a perfect member. All she needs is to be baptized. She's got so many sweet little things she says and shares with us. One thing she said the other day is when you cook you should always do it happily because the emotions you feel go into what you're making and you want people to be able to feel happy when they eat what you've made. It was very cool. She didn’t know this, but we were about to teach her the “Word of Wisdom” when she started talking about how a relative of hers is struggling with alcoholism. As we taught the lesson she nodded in agreement to everything.... EVERYTHING!!! She already lives the word of wisdom and said hearing about it in the scriptures has just strengthened her desire to keep living it. She wants to be baptized, but she wants her whole family to be baptized together. We are hoping to be able to start meeting with all of them soon. She is amazing.
We haven't been able to see Navidad lately. She hasn't been there when we tried. Hopefully we will have better luck this week.
A family in our branch has left the church for the Jehovah’s witness church. The Branch President still would like us to visit so, yeah. Visits with them are a little rough sometimes.
Mom~
HAHAHA!!! How did I know I would scare poor little mommy mom by that "Lex is pregnant?" I’m sorry, that was mean. I love you... I LOVE YOU big hugs ... stop rolling your eyes! I LOVE YOU!!! (This is what she wrote, "Lexie, congratulations on being pregnant ......................... with guinea pigs.") My heart sank for a second when I thought that Lexie had not told her own mother that she was pregnant.
LUVS Everyone,
Hermana Perez
