Halloween was awesome! President said that we had to be in the house at 6:00 pm if we didn't have set appointments so.... we set appointments. It would have been nice to have more study time but we can always stay busy during the evenings so yeah! We visited a little girl in the hospital, the family is investigators of other Elders, but because the hospital is out of their area we went by. This cute 5 year old girl has to be in the hospital all week. She has had an infection, but they had to wait a month before they can operate for some reason. We talked to the mom who was very nice. We are going to go by again today to give her some Liahonas and soft bound scriptures for reading material.
We had a good week bringing members out with us last week. Two of the women from the Relief Society came out with us on separate occasions to do visits. It was great, they are incredible people and I learn so much from them when we get to spend time with them. We also had a girl in our branch come with us to do some visits the other day. She is the sister of a young woman in our ward who is going on a mission to
Eva wasn't able to come to church this week or next week. She won't be able to because of a wedding that she is helping with, but she wants to keep coming. We are going to give her a call today. She wasn't able to meet with us yesterday. She is very, very busy. Eva is praying to know when she should set herbaptismal date for.
Martina and her daughter Suce have a baptismal date for November. We have been meeting with them for awhile and just found out that about 2 years ago they were meeting with Mormon missionaries. That was very cool to find out. We are going to meet her husband this week to start teaching them the discussions.
I got the Halloween package thank you so, so, so much! We loved the candy and even used the masks (glasses with a nose attaced to them) in one picture at our branch party.
All is good. Thank you for your examples and uplifting letters they are very, very, very much appreciated!!! I love you family and friends. Keep praying and reading your scriptures.
Love,
Hermana Perez
