It turns out that Griselda's ex-husband won't let the children get baptized...yet. Ha! Satan and his road blocks. In time they'll all be able to enjoy the blessings of baptism and the temple. We are going to keep working on getting them to become actively involved in the church.
Martina was at church with three of her children! Her boss FINALLY gave her the day off to go to church! It seems like she liked it which was so great. I taught the gospel principles lesson on agency.
Veronica was at church Sunday too which was something else very exciting! She is a friend of another member we've been teaching. We weren't expecting to see her, but we were very happy she came!
Sister Coles is an angel. She has been such a good example to me in so many ways. She keeps me going, such an incredible missionary. I lucked out! She's a very quick learner and has a true sincere desire to work hard here as well as her entire mission. She is very quick to apologize if she sees she may have hurt someone's feelings or done something rude. She is very quick to point out my strengths and has just been amazing! I am praying we'll be able to serve together longer.
We are working hard to keep finding investigators, and help them make steps towards baptism. We have seen many miracles and have been recipients of innumerable acts of kindness. We are so incredibly blessed to be able to serve in this branch these members are amazing! This stake is amazing!!!
Love You,
Hermana Perez
